REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
The Ministry of Environment, Lands and Agricultural Development in close collaboration with the International
Fund for Agricultural Development is seeking for qualified, innovative, and highly committed individuals to fill
in positions now existing within its new Project titled Small Islands Food and Water Project (SIFaWP). The
positions are:
1. National Technical Manager (NTM) requiring a master in project management with 5 years
experience at senior management level or degree in project management with 10 years of general
experience.
2. Finance, Administration and Procurement Officer (FAP) requiring a degree in project management,
procurement, and other related discipline with 5 years of experience.
The SIFaWP is a multi-country project covering FSM, RMI, Tuvalu and Kiribati with an estimated total budget of
USD19.29 million. The main objective of the project is to strengthen household resilience to shocks by
improving food, nutrition and water security and livelihoods opportunities in small island communities of
Kiribati.
